not sure about the gear ratio, but i know the mazda driveshaft doesnt bolt up to them, you have to get the yoke off the sundowner driveshaft welded to your mazda drive shaft. and there 4" narrower. too bad your not in WA, i just gave one away

It is 4" narrower than a stock 86-93 rearend. There are two gear ratios available depending on weather or not the donor truck had a manual or auto trans. You will need the pinion mounting flange from the donor as well as the tube yoke. The emergency brake cables from the later truck will hook up to to the Courier axle as well as the flex hose. I will get the gear ratios and post them up too so you can decide on the one thats best for your aplication.

The ratios are 3.31 in a manual trans Courier and 3.90 comes in the auto trans trucks. Hope this helps somebody out. L8
