motor swap.

i have a 91 civic hatchback 4-speed... and i just got an 86 civic si 5-speed motor. and i was wondering if everything will fit in the same as before. and what all wiring i have to hook up for the electronic fuel injection.

No it wont, Your 91 civic has a dual point 2 injector fuel system, while the SI has a 4 injector multi point system. You would have to swap the entire harness and ECU, plus you might run into mounting issues depending on which car you are swaping the motor in

ya. its not gonna be exact. i'd get a workshop manual for both motors and then figure out what wire does what from both of them and then you can make a jumper harness
im dealin with the same thing with 2 mazda motors for a 323.

what about if i take the 5-speed off the si motor and put it on my motor will everything bolt up the same?
