just got it done the other day. not to shabby for a do it yourselfer. i can only do small things since i have the biggest house oven i found. it fits a 17" rim nicely.

what powder coat gun are you using? I've been using the Eastwood gun and powder works great but I've had a couple little problems.

im using the chicago electric powder gun with columbia coatings powders.

yeah the colors are "chrome" and kandy purple.

I used that chrome stuff on alot of pieces to my mini..Hate to maybe break some bad news to you..But it HATES cast iron..freakin rust starting coming threw the powder..It was blasted and not touched my hand at all..I dont know wtf was up with it..Hopefully you will have better luck than I did on that. My Suburban all the parts were done in Ceramic..Killer Look And very very Tough..But PRICEY! Looks great though dewd

shit i hope my shit dont do that. i bead blasted the parts and baked them first to get everything off them. thanks for the info though ill make sure i keep an eye on them.

Yea, the Near Crhome powder doesn't like cast iron much. But usually if completely dry it turns out alright. The only downfall I really see of that color, is the softness. It's much more prone to chipping or scratching than any other color. Other than flat black, that color is useless. Rattle can paint is more scratch resistant...
