radio wont work

I just got a 1997 malibu the other day with the radio not working... fuses are fine, i rewired it, hooked up the stock one and the stock one dont even work...the clock will come on with the stock radio but nothing happens when i push buttons, and nothing comes on the kenwood at all. Anyone have any clue or had this problem themself?

Sounds to me that your not getting Ignition power. If the clock is coming on then it has constant power. Check all your voltages at the radio with a voltmeter. Also check the ground just in case.
