Hey I don't want to mess around with I-beams, I'm looking to throw in a suspension off of a 89ish Mustang, is this going to work and besides a Mustang II front suspension, what would be my other options?

Wow, no one? No truck experts on this website?

89 stang WONT work, ull need a mustang II kit. other options would be to graft a chevy front suspension on there, or a newer f150(97 up)

front clip from a fullsize or midsize Ford car. Torino, LTD etc.

I had a 66 with an I beam suspension and we clipped it. the clip doesnt cost much at any wrecking yard and then it has spring cups where you can use bag plates.

Hey guys I really appreciate that, that makes sense!

What would have to be done with the steering?

I've been thinking about doing a clip from a mid 70's camro or maybe a LTD,On my 94 E150. I was thinking camro because their are more brake opinions.

I would do what james said...use a late model chevy or F-150 front clip...it will be easier to get lowering and bag parts (i.e. spindles and cups) for those than anything else.
