which booster?

body dropped 99 f-150s which brake booster are u running? i have heard a 93 mustang v8 booster, i have heard a explorer booster....im looking for a booster that will bolt right up, and the rod is the right length so i can connect and it be done with. dont really wanna cut the rod and maked it longer or shorter. what are yall guys running? ....well besides hydroboost

You can always do the Hydroboost. Replaces the booster, alot more compact and looks super clean. Hydratechs Site

exploere booster work great i have that on my truck plenty of clearance for a bd

naa, i dont want a hydroboost, but...the explorer...what all is involved to make it work? drilling holes for the bolts through the firewall is no problem, and im sure the master cylinder bolts right up to the booster, but....what about the rod that connects to the pedal? does it have to be shorted? extended? cut and welded at a different angle? im tryin to stay away from tinkering with the rod.

96 ford explorer booster or hydro boost like im doin on my 2001

i had to offset the rod to the brake pedal because i had to move the booster up and over to the left 2"s. maybe i got the wrong booster.... its a 92 explorer... oh yea... it didnt bolt up either.

i used a booster off a 98 or so ranger. i think it bolted right up.
