HID Conversion?

K so I wanna put true HID Headlights in my caddy. Been looking at the tribar blue dot ones... Now my question is...

Do I need to buy 2 kits since I have 4 headlights?DO they make the tribars that take anything but the H4 bulbs? I'd like to have a set with like 9005's for my highbeams....H4's put out alot of light but I'd like to have something bigger for my highbeams.....

Does anyone make a kit that will control all 4 lights? or will it take the 2 kits?

I've been looking into the same thing for my car. Just a heads up, most of the people that I have asked say it's a lot better and cheaper just to go to a junkyard or even ebay and order the ballasts and bulb holders out of a Lexus or new Maxima. Good luck and let me know how it goes.

make a friend at a dealership and get him to warranty a set of lights and strip the guts

I worked at a dealer untill last month and when you warranty something you have to send the old shit back... So that wouldn't work... good lookin out though.

I got my HID kit for $250 off the internet and i would recomend them but they got shut down by the dps becuase there illegal of course.. but i have 9007 with a 10k temp and there amazing.. a little blueish but when warm look purple. but yes to answer your first question you will need 2 kits becuase you need to have a ballast and ignitor for each bulb as far as i know i could be wrong but i think im right

i come across HID headlights all the time at the bodyshop that i work at. I once came across a set of HID escalade headlights...made a nice sale!

you dont have to send em backyou gotta find out if they callthem back when theydont thety throw them out jag does it alot
