sound system help

allright im picking up my S10 tomorow and i want to do a whole new sound system. the thing is i listen to metal( slipknot,pantera) punk (misfits,dead kennedy's) and screamo ( alexus on fire) and i guesse i can classify avenged sevenfold under all those things. But i need to know is what is a good speaker company for that type of music. and i dont want base and if i dont have a option then id like to keep the bass to a minimum.

jl 10w3v2s are good for the bass that your lookin for.

I would buy ALpine mids and tweets no matter what music you listen to.

when i use to sell car audio, most of the people that liked the same type of music as you perfered Jl xr components. Personally, i do not like there sound that much but i do not listen to rock that much, there construction is still good. For subs go with jl, probably a 10 in.

I listen to some of the same music, I bought cheap ass pioneer 10's for my f150 that add quite a bit of sound inside the cab.

I would go with JL products all the way.

if you can aford it go with the morel components they are alittle pricy but well worth it better than the old mb quarts before they were sold to fosgate

I'm not into the car audio thing that much anymore, but when i was I used a LOT of MB Quart components, I liked the sound a lot and I listen to a lot of different music, Directed also has a component set out that sounds good, its not all that pricey either
