been running my asco valves for about a year and a half and they haven't missed a beat rain snow heat or anything. cheap as hell and they work great.

what kind of speed difference is there between the 3/8 vs 1/2 valves? I actually want my drop to slow a little, but the speed control mufflers slow it too much... might try a smaller valve i guess...

That's what I'd do, if you're gonna reduce it anyway.. might as well save a little cash and start with a 3/8" dump to begin with since most people reduce more than that anyway so their truck doesnt slam down without any control lol.

^^^ just hit me like a ton of heavy things...

I can just put 1/2 to 3/8 or 1/4 reducers in and it should do the same thing then right? I've got a oddball setup w/ 7 3/4 valves and 1 1/2 valve (had to replace a dump and saw no reason to get 3/4 since they are so fukin fast anyway...) and all the dump valves reduced to 1/2 to match the one 1/2 valve... SO I guess I'll try putting an additional reducer in all of them to get it how i want...

thanks!

i'm running the nickle plated 3/8 asco's i bought from ricky not too long ago. with 180-200 psi, 3/8 valves and 1/2 line i can hop the front of my s10 about 2" with the 4.3 under the hood. The best thing is, i can still tap the switch and adjust it down, inch by inch if i want to.

Wow, just reduced to 1/4 and barely a difference.... it did help though so I'm good for now.

I think my front is reduced to like 1/8" and the rear a little closer to 1/4". I like using plugs, and drilling them out until i get the right speed.. and make the front/rear drop at the same speed.

that's a pretty good idea there... might go that route when i'm ready to slow it down a little more.
