I'am lookening into changeing my Firestones out with Slam Specialties RE-7, i have an GMC 98 fullsize. My question is that how much lift i will get out of the Slam bags v.s Firestone and i hurd that it rides better than what i got. Thanks.

The slam bags are a bit stiffer, so they ride better, with and without shocks. A firestone has a max stroke of like 6" in a 1:1, where as the Slam bags have around 8.5" of stroke in a 1:1.. Up front, any bag will max out your stock suspension, its just a matter of what PSI and the ride quality.

I only use Slam bags.

it gets about 1 1/2 inches more lift, handles more pressure and rides 10000 x 10000 times better than firestones.
