Z-24 Engine

I need info on what performance upgrades can be made to this engine.I can't even locate a cold air intake for this truck.89 Hardbody.

i have an 89 hb. Ebaymotors has some upgrade performances like intakes and headers, just type in Nissan Hardbody and it should show you some parts.

If it's the same as the 85 I had back in the day with 8 spark plugs you don't need to do much. The only things that were available back in 88 when I had mine were a cam, weber or mikuni sidedraft carbs, and a header and full exhaust. A few of us had them and it was fun for an import truck to play with stock mustangs. Dammit now I'm all misty eyed missing my 720.
