2000 chevy short wide body drop or channeling

what i need to know is what is envovled and what is the easiest thing to do!! there are all kinds of names for this stuff i know but what i want to know is if i do all of this what am i looking at as far as the heater core lines and stuff like that that go through firewall?? will i have to get longer hoses for all that or what anyways any pics or anything that you could tell me would be great! thanks what it do Jeff

heater hoses are the least things to worry about.


The problem is the lower radiator hose, the core support, and stuff.

you might consider finding a professional for assitance.

when i b/d my 2000 silverado....i just moved my radiator over like 2 inches to clear the lower radiator hose from the frame...worked awesome and only took like 10 mins to do it...just had to drill a couple holes

check out the feb. street trucks. they did a channeled body drop. it explains it perty good.

about the lower radiator hose they just notched the frame and rienforced it.

i notched the frame and plated it an made room for the hose
