rockers... room...

anyone on here with a p'up layin rockers? im gonna get mine done this summer, what kind of cab space do you have... is it unbearable?

Mine Lays door and it is fine.

but you will want to:
- get a smaller steering wheel than stock.
- Adjustable steering column is nice too
- drop the seats

i'm laying rocker with a stock floor body drop adn some racin seat just so my ass is that much closer to da ground

i wanna lay rockers... i wanted a grant wheel anyway, but the idiot who had my truck before me (in the philippines, the truck is JDM) welded the stock one to the column... and how hard is an adjustable column to find/install

i have an 88 to the rockers and it has plenty of room.kinda got to slide the leg under the whel a bit but not bad. head room is nice, but if you have the 2.6 you will need to section the oilpan or shim the engine up about an inch. I still havent cut the pinch weld b\c the oil pan hangs down too far.

i got the 2.3 but it wont be in there much longer, gonna put a fwd 3.0 v6 in it and use the rwd dakota trans that bolts to it... same engine in a dodge shadow... and those things are pretty quick
