How many people on here are in wheelchairs or have other disabilities? Or if you know someone that is disabled post pics. of your truck/car/van or any other toy ( custom chairs, motorcycle,4wheelers etc.) , and post the mods you had to uses so that it is uses able to you (and how much of the work have you done yourself).

I'm a c5 c6 quadriplegic that's doing some mentoring for some newly injured and young people disabilities, And want to be able to show them that you can still have a nice or custom ride.

And something I thought everoe on this fourm would like, Are the bagged trucks that are being build for persons with disabilities that have ramps that let out like on the mini vans. These trucks can be driven from the wheelchair. It's pretty awesome whats being built these days. http://www.rynomobility.com/

If anyone wants to sponsor a 1994 ford e150 for the uses of mentoring people with disabilities, and to hit the shows for advertisement for your business. Hit me back and let me know.

I have a disability called Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congeneta. Basically it has left my arms with joints that are fixed. I have very little upper body strength, because my muscles never fully developed. You can see my rides on my profile. Most of the work that has been done to my truck was done by others. As far as how I drive was just through adaptation. My dad worked with me a lot, my drivers education teacher gave me more time behind the wheel then anyone else had, and my best friend was good enough to teach me to drive a 5-speed. Like other things in my life all I can say is that I had to adapt. I know there are people that have disabilities that are far more extreme then mine, and their situation may be different, but there are organization that help those who need help to adapt. Mo.

If you have ever seen that older body style Dodge layin frame on 22s that was yellow with a black hood.
And the new bodystyle dodge that was orange on 24s, In a mountain dew commercial and is a Dub toy.
Those were both built by the same guy. He built the wheelchair on Overhaulin for the guy that had that tubbed stang.

I just want to say to others that may be on SSM or whatever and see us at shows, that just because they see a body that isn't quite "normal" doesn't mean that we don't have a brain, that comes up with some wild a** sh**... It seems that I'm thinking of new things like 24 hrs. a day.. I do sleep though...lol. This the last thing I'll say then I'll get off the freakin' soap box... I've grown up around lifted 4x4's and hot rods damn near all my life, and I totally thank my dad for that. God just gave me different tools to accomplish my goals..... Mo.
