i have a mig welder it is the most powerful one that will work on a normal outlet. i am going to shave the doors with it and i was wondering if there is anything i need to look forword to or purchase before i start to cut the replacement pieces and weld them in. this will be my first time every welding :-0

I wouldnt worry about how powerful your welder is b/c you should by on the lowest setting or 2nd lowest depending on your welder and thinckness of metal. The main thing to keep in mind is GO SLOW and i mean slow. In my opinion it should take atleast an hour to fully take a handle filler depending on the size, some poeple prob laugh at that but it saves time from having to fix all the warped sheet metal
