Car Audio on a budget

I'm looking for a stereo for my ranger, but dont want to spend too much... I listen to Hardcore music if that helps at all...

I would like a 10, doesnt have to hit too hard... and I was thinking 6.5's up front with 6x8's in back (I was told they are 6x8's)... Also can I fit a 6x9 in the back instead of a 6x8 since I already have some(its a 2005 Ford Ranger Extra Cab)?What would you recommend I buy? I would like to try to keep it less than $1000 with a head unit...Thanks

i bought 4 15 inch kicker comp vrs(brand new) and a brand new audiobahn a2300hc( for like 800 bucks total off ebay...they got tons of deals on new shit on there...altho i bought my head unit new here in town...id buy subs and shit off ebay again tho..

My buddies are going riding out at Hungry Valley, right by Moon Rocks but I havent touched my bike in over 2 months... Need to change the oil and air filter and all that good stuff. I'm sure I'll see you out there some time though.

if you want something from dbdrive.net or quantumaudio.net i am a wholesale distributor for both and ill get you a great deal, im thinking panasonic head unit $225... quantum 1500w 10 inch sub $100... quantum sq1500.1 1500w amp $150... quantum 6.5 component set $95... use your 6x9's if they will work so you save some cash there and a quantum QS4150 4x150 Watt amp for the highs $150...

total $720 plus shipping, if you want an indash screen my buddy is selling his audiovox indash dvd,cd,mp3 with a 7 inch flip out moterized screen with a built in tv tuner for $450 plus shipping, or if you want something with better SQ then the quantum i can do all of the about in the db speed series for about $720 with out the head unit, just depends on how much you are willing to spend on getting the better quality stuff , not saying the quantum is bad in no way shape or form but the db is more expensive simply because of the quality being higher then the quantum if ya know what im saying.
