How much to do a skin??

I am about to do one for a guy and dont have any idea what to charge, what is the average price people charge to do them??? any info will be apreciated!

are you talking a tail gate skin, if so, shit, charg him for the skin and whatever ampunt of time (hours) it takes you, multiply the hours of the job by what you think is fair per hour, fair is 15-30 depending on your skill, normal is 25-75 depending on how skilled you think you are. lol. just get paid for your time man.

we charge about (depends on body shape.. but like 400-500 for mini and 600-700 for fullsize all set in primer its very time taking so your dont warp the metal

the dude that did mine was very highly skilled has built many mini's fullsize's, low low's, in his time he put my full skin combo on my mazda for 200 bucks but then again he didnt bondo or primer it, i had someone else do that for 100 bucks

Yea, it's a big job to do right. Took me a good 8 hours to hang my skin without warping it. In the end it was worth the extra time since it needed no bondo at all.

Id charge about 7-8 hrs at about $40 an hour. But it would be finished to primer.
