body drop amount

will the bed be body dropped the same amount as the cab? i seen some people who have dropped the bed alot more than the cab? reason???

if u just wanna lay flat then yea bd it the same amount of inches.. usually better to do it 1/2" to 1" more just in case things dont go as planned and u can shim it then by using washers to space it up if u need to... the reason for overbodydropping the bed more than the cab is to keep the air setup/notch/bridge underneath the stock bedfloor... but then that leaves u with a bedfloor which is about 5-10" deep... which isnt much if u wanna actually haul sumthing...

So they can add spacers under the bed to line the body line up.

i was thinkn the reason was to hide everything under the bed floor. i will be moving the gas tank to the rear between the frame rails along with my air tank and compressor. so im think i may go that route so i can hide it all and so the tank wont be above the bed floor ,so this way i wont have to cut it out and sheet metal where the highest point will be. i may drop the bed alot more to hide everything
