i am looking into an irs for my late model mazada that has the same chassis as a ranger and cannot decied on what application to start out with...i want somethign that is gonna be very similar in width without getting differnt axles and aslo trying to keep the bolt pattern...also whats the deal with hooking up 4 wheel disc if i have drums out back...

i was thinking thunderbird because i am pretty sure it maintains the bolt pattern for the wheels but i think it is too wide...has anyone put one of these on a mini...

they are not the same bolt pattern, yours is 5x4.5 and the t-bird is 5x4.25, not sure of the width

i have seen mustang rims on a 240 sx before...is it safe to assume that that has a 5 x 4.5 bolt pattern...also should be plenty narrow

114.3mm is the conversion for 4.5 lug spacing, not sure of the 240 but they are measured in milimeters, so if its 114.3mm then your golden

I think I'd do a 300zx! It's the correct bolt pattern and it looks clean!

if u do the t bird, u can use cobra spindles/hubs

doing a cobra irs would be the best idea i am sure but probably the hardest to come by and the most expensive...the reason i said 240 or 300z beacuse i think they would be easier to find and for a much cheaper price..
