i want to bag my dak, and i wanted to know what i should go with or where i should look. I want to go as low as i can with out doing a body drop. i dont care if i have to cut out the fender wells or the bed for the c-notch.

What size wheels?

18's you can possibly go w/ a bolt in C-notch & it will lay frame in the back if you go w/ a low enough tire. The front wouldn't need to have the fenders removed.

If you went w/ 20's, you can lay frame, but you have to remove the fenders up front, relocate the battery, fuse box, & computer. The back will need to be cut as well. In back you will need an 8" step notch for sure. I went w/ a 10.

As far as tuckin' 20's + You will need to do some modification most likely. You may have to roll your fenders in the back, or shorten your axle. It is pretty hard to find a set that will tuck w/o work.

to see my dakota, go to www.CreativeConceptsCC.com, if that site is down, go to:www.CconceptsCC.addr.com (or you could just buy my '97 Dakota. only 31k miles.)Good luck!

i am thinking of either doing 18's in the front and 20's in the rear or 18's all around, what kind of set up should i do for the rear? i don't know all that much about bagging trucks so as much detail as you can would be great, since i don't really know what my options are.

As far as cups go chevy fullsize will get-r-done. you can lay up to an 18 without any lowered spinles n shat. If u wanna lay 20's or even dub deuces u can straighten the angle of the ball joints and lay. The rear just do a simple 4 link with bags over axle "Yes everyone I know over the axle sux" but its simple for someone new unless your feeling froggy and wanna do bags mounted on the four link. But Outlaw Customs did an f-150 with over the axle and it rode like a Caddy!
Valves and compressors and size of line is all your preference of how quick u want it.

if i were you i would order a front cup bag kit for a s10 from suicidedoors.com and a four link kit that is not welded yet just bars and ends then get your self a bridge notch kit 10" and goto and shop around you that is capable to do frame work the front end all you have to do is take out the springs and shocks and bolt in the cup kit i sed them and my truck layed front crossmember on 225 65 15 you could buy 18s and the tires will be the same outer cercomfrence

so as far as the rear goes what is the best; 4 ink or over the axle? (i don't care about simplicity, i just want the best ride)also what do you guys think of this www.airbagit.com/pp_streetscraper.htm

www.airbagit.com what every they are calling it these days, either way it is still AIM INDUSTRIES. and I wouldn't buy from them. Wait 'till you get a price quote & think everything is ok, then they tell you the shipping price. Bend Over!

not to mention their products are not that quality. Buy Contitech 2600 bags from www.SuicideDoors.com for the 4 corners. Also get their 10" notch/brige kit & over the axle brackets. Measure from the center of your axle tubing to the front leaf spring hanger & give that dimention to them and have them make you "parallel 4-link bars) Then you will need a panhard bar kit as well.

After that, the rear is taken car of.. However you need to be able to weld fairly well, or have somone who knows what their doing do it for you.

I would get 4 SMC 1/2 valves for filling & 4 3/8" SMC valves for the dumps. IF you don't care about a tank being in your bed, get a 12 port 12 gallon tank. Then run all 1/2" plastic DOT air line. You will probably need between 50 & 70' depending on where you mount your valves. It would be easiest & most accessible if you put the valves right on the tank, but faster & more responsive if you put them alittle closer to the bag. If price isn't a problem, get an Oasis Compressor. (i've got one in my Impala & it's nice) On my dakota i converted my air conditioner to pump air into my tanks. I wouldn't strongly reccomend that if you drove it ALOT. Get two viair 380's if you want electric & not an oasis.

email me w/ any more questions @ ccPresident@aol.com

i am mainly looking for speed. Are those compressors loud, i am looking for something relativly quiet So if i put the tank in the bed, how many would i need (and what size)two small ones or one big one.

I can get you everything you need for your truck. I am actually building a 98 dakota right now. We did a 2" front frame z and a 2.75" body drop. We are making our own 4 link and using a mechanical advantage to get a good ride. My slam bags are $75.99 each for RE's. My f/s chevy cups are $70 per pair. For the back you options are an Airride tech dakota specific four link for $499. I don't know anything about that kit but I can find out more if you are interested. It says it has a bolt on panhard bar. Air Zenith compressors are what I've been hearing are great. I sell those for $300 in different colors. Valves and tanks you have many options on. Asco valves for for $40 a piece or $150 for 4 1/2" nickle plated. Let me know if I can be of assistance. John www.customparts.biz or sales@customparts.biz

Oh yeah, my shipping is what I get charged from the distributor, you won't get raped on it.
