i understand that most of these pics are not finished. as long as you get some solid well penetrated welds on eveything you should be good.

ppl need to lay off that built not bought bullshit. ill happily pay someone to do something that i know i dont have the skills for. and so far, ive done all the work on my truck. but im not too proud to know when something is over my head. in no way am i hating on this guy. you learn by doing, but when you are done, be sure its safe. give it the BFH test (hitting it with the biggest hammer or heavy blunt object you can find). if you thgink to yourself, "well, that SHOULD hold..." then you might wanna ask for a little help.

id rather drive next to something that the owner paid someone knowledgable to do the work on then some dude that bought a welder last week and watched the 30 min "how to" video that comes free with it.

its only common sense. quick little analogy...would you do surgery on yourself? similar risk when doing these mods. life or death....

I dont know what it looks like now, but from the way it looks in the pics, you should really reconsider redoing it. I give you mad props for doing it yourself, but when it comes down to it, its my life and others on the road when something breaks. Your puttting other peoples lives in your own hands. That is why when i rebag the front of my nissan, im getting a shop to it, i know how it is done, but i cant weld good. I just want to let you know im not trying to bash you, just stating what i feel and others feel to, it doesnt look good. But good luck dude, hope you get it all worked out. Zander

i never said drive an un safe truck on the road common sense should tell u if ur truck is safe or not just by lookin at it. u dont have 2 be a rocket scientist to see if a weld looks like shit or not. u guys bashin on him have never seen the truck in its current state nor have u seen it in person so why be so negitive. its negitive people who think there shit dont stink that make more and more people give up on there projects and get out of the scene all together.all im sayin is u can tell people things with out bein such ass holes about it. encourage people 2 do build trucks tell them what they have issues with in a nice manner or just shut up and dont say a thing.

if he can post some current pics with nicesolid welds on clean surfaces sure i wouldnt doubt him, but hes also rocking suicide hinges solidly welded and a chopped door on an unchopped cab. just hack shit.

Im sory to disapoint u but the HAKED up s10 is no more it was my first and I would have never of driven it. Cause I did not know what I was doing and I didnt have a good welder. I have a prety good understanding of whats safe and not safe I have a family to wory about and im not trying to kill myself! The toyota will probably not get driven for another year or too. so I have plenty of time to redo my faults and just so I feel better I always have my friend who attended wyotech before it ever rools!

yo man, i agree, some "not so good" work... but like some people said.... u learn from your mistakes... but b4 u learn from them, redo the stuff youve done "not so good" and take your time on it and think out everything real well before u start, instaed of welding away on your frame, weld on some scrap steel till u get better at layin a bead, thats what ive done in the past and believe me, over time, it works, pracitce makes perfect.... good luck with whatever else u do !
