quick amp question

when wiring a 2 or wore sups to amap the watts is divided evenly to the subs right? like say i got 4 subs wired to a 1000 watt amp each sup will get 250 watts? or will each sub get 1000? ( i know about wiring to lower the impedence from 4 to 2 to 1 to whatever)

is it a four channel amp?or two?i would think 250 a piece...or i could be wrong

to get full power to each sub bridg them down depending on what owm your subs and amp are also if you have four subs and you link the power or + to gether from one another the first speaker gits most of the power and so on i would just bridg them down and set the amp but make sure they dont start to bottom out if so you will here them knocking
