I have a 92 rodeo 2wd stock axle, i found some 18" rims but i dont know if they will tuck. There 5.5" back spacing 10' lip to lip. 4.5" from flat of rotor to outside of rim, you think they will fit in the wheel well? i trimmed out the inner wells and the wheel well has no lip.

they wont tuck at all? If i flare out the back wheel wells a bit?
I wish they did.. 300$ for brand new 18" rims thats a hell of a deal

those are only +10 ish offset, at most +15, on a 9 inch wide wheel (which is measured at 10" lip to lip). You will need like +45 at minimum for a 9 inch wide wheel on an isuzu . The front may tuck with camber, the back most likely will not.

I had an isuzu a loooong time ago, it needed 4.5 inches backspace on a 7 inch wheel to JUST TUCK in the rear, That translates out to +12 offset on a 7 inch wheel, or +30 on an 8 inch wheel, or +45 on a 9 inch.

what width? On a 7 inch wide it would be +35 or so, a 7.5 wide would need + 41, (eskies are 17x7.5 with +37 and BARELY tuck in the rear if you pull the fenders out), on an 8 +47, on an 8.5 +53 on a 9 +60 or so... anything higher than these offset numbers will tuck no problem, anything lower, even slightly, will rub.

The proper offset figure is always dependent on width. A +40 7 inch wide wheel will tuck fine, a +40 8.5 inch wide wheel will not. Even though they have the same offset. Same with backspace, a 5.5 inch backspace will tuck on a 7 inch wheel, a 5.5 backspace on a 8.5 will chew the fenders up.

offset is not the dish of the wheel, offset is how far the mounting surface of the wheel is offset form the center of the wheel. Has nothing do do with the outside lip.

well thats the 6 million dollar question. You would figure camber would take care of a lot of rear tuckage problems..... But I wont know for at least a month...
