http://www.russellperformance.com/auto/hoses/pflex_prace.shtml copy and paste that, that is the russel page....

-8 is 7/16 and -10 is 9/16 ID....keep in mind that 1/2 inch dot airbrake line is actually 3/8 ID ao if you want that speed then the -8 is fine

Thanks Aaron, thats the company i was going to go with, what do you guys think of russell performance or Aeroquip. i think i am going to go with -8 size.

well aeroquip has been around for a longer time, but the russel product is similar quality. the line is basically the same with what ever manufacturer but when it comes to fittings stay with only 1 manufacturer cause then they will look all the same, and when assembling the lines make sure you use a approved lube so you have less chance in the fitting digging into the rubber part of the hose. we build tons of these style hoses at my work for aircraft and the lube is a very important part!!!!!!

your using it for airline? How well does that work out?

Either company is fine, there is also parker, but most of them are rated to like 600 psi....and now you can get the polished fittings as well as the brushed Ti fittings from Mr gasket I believe......

Only downside is keeping it clean...dirt likes to get caught up in the braids....thats why I went hardline.....

You would be better off to hardline the parts you cannot see, then use the braided onyl in the areas visisble....cheaper too.
