22's on a mazdawg

I have a mazda frame under construction right now, it will be able to lay 28" of tire. My only obstacle will be the body. I want to lay rocker with at least a 20 with 2wd fenders.

20's and rockers won't be a problem

---Very good point there you made last. And also I couldnt agree more that a Maz on a nice set of 18/20 combo or even straight up 18s or 20s looks badass. And thanks for the props on the Civic, it should be done for this show season.

that truck above IS one of the baddest/cleanest trucks i've ever seen.also one of my favorites.i just wish it had 2 wheel drive fenders or a 4x4 bed.

haha sorry Rudy, I wasnt even really refering to your truck, I actually just took a look at it and your truck is def a sick truck. But my point is there are few and far between trucks that look good with big wheels, yours is an example of a good looking truck with big wheels. But like you said when you air that bitch up it looks weird. I just like nice clean looking trucks, clean setups, not alot of destruction of what the truck was.

lol, it's cool douggie but truth is truth, and the truth is that my truck is a hack and is very destructed from what it originally was.damn, i can only wish my truck was as clean as the green maz you pictured.but there is another truth here. And that is that i am building my truck for the mere purpose of haveing fun with itand it sure as hell serves that purpose well. by the way ,thanks for the compliment and i do see your point.

No its cool man, I just dont want you to think im hating on your truck cause im not. Shit im not even hating on the dude that wants to run 22's on his Mazda. But people build there rides for themselves and thats how it should be. If you enjoy doing what you do then god bless you bro, cause thats how its supposed to be. And I am sure that you have a damn good time working on your truck.

I ll stick with my 17s or mabey go to 18s Ive got the suspension set up for 22s in the rear but its a daily so I will stick with the smaller rims.

i built the above vc truck.. suspension an short bed...... it could handle 22 in the rear and an 18 in the front for now but with a weekend and some minor front re-fab work it would lay frame on 22's no problem and with almost no camber

the smallest 22 tire i could find was a 305/25 22 and it is 28.8 inches tall therefore making it Impossible to lay flat on the pavement (rockers included, not just the pinch either) with 22 inch wheels without the tires coming through the top of the bedside for sure....so more power to whoever makes it happen.....my three cents...

the ones on my wagon are 265/30/22's there 28 inches manufactuer differances and width need to be thought of the wider the taller the sidewall if you go too wide it wont fit that way if it does you wont turn

heres my two cent i am doing the zu on 22' i have a 255/30R22 by nitto and i can lay 22 at rocker if they went to the very top of fender so i only went to pinch molding

245/30/22 is the smallest.
