Hopefully someone can help me I have an electrical problem with my 2000 s10 pickup. So here it goes the truck will not start! I found that the only way it will start up is by jumping two connections of the start relay in the fuse box in the engine compartment. I have replaced the battery; starter selonoid; neutral ignition switch and wiring harness; as well as the starter relay, but no luck. When I try to start without the jump, all instruments work correctly and the gas pump goes on and when the key turns all power goes to starting it as usual but theres no sound. Hopefully someone out htere had this problem or knows what the hell is wrong. Thanks for everyone time.

maybe the relay you bought to replace the old relay was bad try another one

could be the ignition switch, or a fuse, and if you have "pass lock" it could be the key or the pick up on the lock cyl

I had a simular prob. and i replaced the ignition switch, but it ended up being a bad connection on the ignition fuse under the hood.
