ran into another problemo in my swap on my 94 fullsize, got a latemodel aftermarket flywheel, 153 tooth, its alittle smaller in diameter than the 168 tooth flexplate that came off the truck, am i gonna have to get a different starter?

yeah kris you will need a new starter. small blocks have about a zillion differnt starters over the years and the bad part is if you put on the wrong one it usually tears up the flywheel. it is best if you know what year to go down to auto zone and get one. if you are willing to spend the money summit has a guide in there book to match a high torque starter to the tooth flywheel you have. hope this helps!
