Hey guys, so i gotta 91 toyota pick up single cab, and i dont wanna dump a whole load of money into it, so i dont wanna bag it, but i do wanna drop it a lil, say like 3". So i decided i would go 3" drop blocks in the rear, but im not sure what im gonna do in the front now. I know i could just cut the springs, but then if i cut them enough to get it to level out with the back wont i have really bad camber? what do u guys recomend for me to do? the cheaper the better, but i still want it to ride decent.

thnx

robbie

you dont have springs in the front
you have torsions
crank on em a bit, that'll lower it just enough for you.

ok thnx, i was just thinking that i dont have springs. But after torqing down the torsions wont my camber be messed up?

ok well, im gonna give lowering the front end a try today, i need to losen the torsion bar correct? im thinking about just buying the whole kit from djm suspension, the drop blocks for the rear and the 3" lower control arms, would this be a better way to go? it will cost me a couple hundred more.

Dont waste your money on those arms for the front if you think that you will EVER bag your truck. Those arms wont let your truck layout when you go to bag it.

If you plan on baggin it later dont waste the cash, if you dont plan on baggin it then spend the money, you will get a little bit better ride from the front with those arms.

ok well say i dont buy those because i might bag it later, what kind of disadvantages am i going to get from just adjusting the torsion bar?

edit: if i do a 3" drop all the way around, what are the biggest tires i can fit on, width and hieght wise?

thnx robbie
