pie cutting?

im fixing to shortin my spindels on my civic and i have heard some things on pie cutting your a-arms.i dont hav no clue on what this looks like.does anyone have a pick of some arms cutt like this?

all it is is cutting an angle out at your arms and bending it back together and welding..to re-angle your balljoint
