when i put djm lower arms on a 00 ranger would it be good to put uppers arms too, or does it matter?

DJM lower Ranger arms are shorter than stock by 1/2"

your uppers will bind when you lay your truck out.

so if i have djm lowers and stock uppers and i riase the uppers 2 inches the stock uppers would give me that .5 inch that i need to keep the correct geometery??

also mike i noticed on your wesite that you are going to be making ranger arms that will use a toyota spindle which would be very effective in my theory to reslove the camber issue very sensibly...but i still have a question as i was designing my own set of these arms ....the rack on a toyota is behind the engine while on the ranger is in front of the engine...this causes a proble with using the toyota spindle...is there any other applicable spindle to use that could utilize the factory rack,,,,possible crown vic or something else that would maintain the stock bolt pattern

just wondering what you think..not trying to attack you or anyhting..i am also intrested in seeing some of the pics of the z process and sectioning of the engine crossmemeber that you speak about and have on the website...the pics on the wesite will not load thats why i was curious....thanks

I'm pretty sure he is using a 89-95 Toyota spindle, its a "front steer" geometry. The steering linkage is in front of the suspension. You must be thinking of the Tacoma which uses a rack behind the suspension. And the bolt pattern for a Toyota and Ranger are the same, its 5x4.5

you must be correct...was using a newer spindle which had the rack behingd the suspension...i was under the impression that the older ones were the same way but apparently not so i guess it should be no problem. thanks for info..
