I just bought me some zinik sabini's and there 22's but im faced with a huge decision... If i go to my local tire dealer i will pay over 1000 for a 265/40 22 which is my choice of tire. my other choice is i was at a local shop when a guy tells me he has 265/35 22's in his garage brand spanking new for 700 cash. The 265/40 is a nitto 555 and the 265/35 is a nitto 420s. My question is what do you guys think? Should i be ok a on a 35 series tire when i drive the truck daily or do i need the exact extra inch with the 40 series? the 35 is 29.33" and the 40 is 30.39"

i have 225/35/18s on my daily, they are pretty small and ive driven on some terrible ass louisiana roads for over a year now and dont have a single bend, ding, or curb mark.

im thinking save the extra 300 and just go with the 35's i mean its exactly an ince difference but i dont want to risk $350 for a new rim

Just ask your self do you want a bumpy ride or a softer ride. I run 40 series never had a flat, and over a year of daily driving. I also have Zinik rims 18's. 35's look like rubber bands on rims, but there sick as hell, good luck man Peace ~JP
