I did a search, but didn't come up with the answers to my question. I am going to bag a '05 Colorado Extreme extra cab on 20's for a local guy. I'd like for it to lay frame on 20's. There is alot of debate about arms and availability of parts for this vehicle. DJM arms are available but say they aren't capatible with the factory lowered Colorado's. What is different of the prelowered Colorado's? Can anyone tell me what suspension components (what and where) and any tips for this project? And what about this?

Not much info about bagging, but just about everything else you want to know about the rado. The djm arms seem to be bending the ball joint plates alot

they aren't compatible(sp) because the factory lowered colorado's have diff. struts. But that won't make any diff. if you are baggin it anyway so they will still work. I used the djm arm, and modded the factory upper arm, because the ball joint will bind before it lays

check out www.cleancutcreations.com! They have developed a new air ride system for the colorado...

The Clean Cut Creations kit is all BYC stuff. IF you decide to go that route, try and order COD and don't plan on getting your stuff in anytime soon.

Thats what I thought with the arms. As far as modifying the uppers, do mean just cutting and reangling the ball joints? And would the ball joints above help that?

Oh, and with all the BYC bad press I've read, I probably won't go that route.
