If U remove the AC does that mean the heat has to go as well? I have a 97 Sonoma, kept the AC first time round. ANOTHER ? while we are at it, I have a 4 cyl, my AC dryer (I think) is on the drivers side, big bullet lookin thing. The 4.3 is on the pass side right in front of the big black box. Why can I move that big silver thing over to the other side. Hope this ??? does not sound to dumb.

If you take out the ac , you lose your heat. You can section your blower box, depending on your wheel size, enough to keep your ac and heat. I have a 96 s-10 2dr. blazer that is getting a stock floor and we sectioned the blower box around 2 in.
