Closest airport to South Padre

Does anyone know the nearest airport to fly into South Padre in Texas?? I have no idea and will be coming from Houston...any help would be greatly appreciated!

prob. brownsville, but the drive isn't that bad its about 6 hours.

do you know of any major airlines that fly into there??

try southwest or maybe continental has a hopper that goes down there

southwest is probaly your best bet and they are going to be the cheapest.

yall should go to spring fling in panama, fl not that much further and gonna be alot better then the padre show. last years padre show was soooo boring.
