what to do with the steering shaft once i bodt drop 2.5 inches? its realy close to the upper control arm and once i z and body drop im think its gonaa rub really bad. what should i do? any pics? suggestions? thanks

Hey mike, i didnt have to do anything with my steering shaft except for notching the firewall a little bit so it could go up a little bit. i have the tube arms so thats not an issue for me, they do come close to the arms but it will never touch them.

built mine out of tubing , 2 u-joints and a heim joint to make it with a custom made bracket that bolts to the back side of the control arm..... heres some pics...

well i will be doin 1 inch z and 2.5 body drop maybe ill only have to notch the firewall like tim said? im jus ttryin to plan ahead to knwo what ill be needing

Jason thats what I need to do! Thanks for those picks. Hopefully mine will be close. I moved my arms up an inch, and I'm going to body drop 1.75" (to the rocker). Hopefully mine is close. Those weld on steering joints work pretty good?

when i BDed mine(3.5") the shaft was going to hit the stock control arm. I bought tubular control arms, and it now clears fine.
