Rodeo headlight ?'s

today i picked up a 93 rodeo front end (Bumper, valance, grill, headlights and COMPLETE wiring harness). My question is do i need to completely rewire my truck with this rodeo harness or can i just cut the plug for the headlamps (88 pup) off and just connect the rodeo plug to my existing wiring harness with some female connectors?

I have a 92 Pickup..(not a hombre). I used the 9003 wiring plugs from Autozone. You can get them from pepboys also. My truck had 5 factory wires that we wired into the 3 wires that go onto the 9003 wiring. You do not have to rewire your truck. Everything you need is in the old plugs.

Ok, Listen up. My 92 had the square headlights w/ the 3 prongs on the back of the headlight. There was a Left prong, middle top prong, and a Right prong. On the 92 isuzu wiring, you will see 2 wires that run into the left prong, 1 wire that runs into the middle top prong, and 2 wires that run into the right side prong.

Now look at the 9003 wiring, you will have 3 wires on it. Face the 9003 like it will be plugging into the headlight. (Clip at the top.) The 1 wire on the left go to the 2 wires on the left prong of the 92 isuzu wiring. The 1 wire in the middle goes to the middle top prong, and the 1 wire on the right go to the 2 wires on the right prong of the 92 isuzu wring.

Soder every wire together! If you butt connect them or tape them together you will have nothing but problems. The wiring needs to have the correct amount of current through them and if you tape or butt connect them, your asking for trouble. Sodering is not that hard. you can get soder at autozone or advance auto for pretty cheap.
