I have a 1970 C-30 (1ton truck, long bed). The truck as Drums on the front and rear. I am tryin to find out if i can use a 1997 front spindle on my truck!! I would be greatful for any help with my problem. I would also like to know if i need to go ahead with tublar upper and lower control arms? I wanna lay the chasis out on the ground. The biggest issues that i am tryin to figure out is if i have to go with a 71-72 front spindle or can i use a 1991-1999 front suspension!!

I'm sure you could with some modifications but you would proly be better off looking at an '81 to '89. I would think that those years would almost be a bolt on swap.

Yeah i was thinking that he could use the 81-89 suspension parts also. Should bolt right on so he change it over to disc brakes.

you can use control arms and spindles off the 73-87 trucks and they bolt right up.

then you have disc and no cutting, drilling or hassle.

you can go with 1/2, 3/4, or one ton and the arms all bolt up the same from 63-87 and to
whatever year thet stopped selling the square body dually...
