i think im going to have to get a fuel cell. im wondering if anyone knwos what the fuel pressure rating is for a 92 yota pick up. i need to find out to see what kind of pump i will have to get.thanks

nope. EFI engines (except the TBI chevy systems) use high pressure fuel pumps. it will be between 40 and 50 psi. Sorry, but the price of the external fuel pumps you have been looking at just tripled.

yea i believe it should be between 38 and 44psi at idle with the vaccuum line hooked up to the pressure regulator. and yea the price just did more than triple and your gonna need a good aftermarket fuel pressure regulator too cause the stock one in the fuel rail cant handle an aftermarket pump. i found all this out the hard way.

the pump wont kick on though with just the key on. air has to be sucking through the mass air box, so the motor has to be cranking

no i wasnt doubting i was jsu saying that seems high? i mean i got no idea at all jus didnt think that much psi is used.
i think ill make the stock tank work lol
