Hey guys I have a quick question. I have a 97 chevy ext. cab 4x4. It doesn't have a lift on it at all but I am running 33 12.50's. How I have no idea. They don't even rub at all. I am putting a 6 inch lift on it. Every one says I can only put 35's on it. But since with no lift i have 33's do you think I can put bigger then 35's on it once it's lifted?

you will be able to run 38s with a little cutting. Try pirate4x4.com im a member of tht site also for my 4wheel drive stuff. Good site an good answers!

ya i agree 35's.. We used to run 37's on ours with a 6.5 and 3" body and it still rubbed so 38's are gonna be out of the question. Cepek advertises there 6.5 kit will run 35's with minor trimming (lower corner of the valance, and lower corner of the fender)>

But since i'm running 33's with NO lift do you thing i can run bigger then 35's with a 6 inch kit. Usually you have to have a 4 inch kit to run 33's

35s is about all your going to get out of a bolt on 6inch lift kit. My buddy has a 98 1500 z71 and its got a procomp 6inch ifs lift and it is running 35in bfg mud terrians...it rubs inner fender a bit.

Well then I guess its just luck that i can run 33's with no rubbing and no lift
