How much bigger in dia. will these bags grow when air has been put into them? And could someone post pics of the bags when aired up. I would like to see how distorted the bags get. My bags look awful when I let the suspension pull the bag down an inch or two.(truck is still on stands) Thanks

i dont have pics but the bags will look distorted if there is no air in them and all of the weight of your suspension is hanging on them. they are trying to rip loose from the caps on top and bottom. you should never do that.

airlifts suck. your bag should be not in a bind when tis dropped.

I did not let the suspension hang on them. Just let the jack thats holding the suspension up down a couple inches is all...But when they are full of air and the truck is lifted off the ground will the bags still look deformed?

yea i dont like airlift bags.. even though i have then on my truck.. im not trusting the plastic caps that are on the top and bottom and the rings that hold it all together..

are the valves and everything plumbed to the bag? if so when you let the jack down it will create a vaccuum inside the bag. and since the suspension has some weight to it, it will stretch the bag down and cause the side to suck in and look funky. airlift bags do suck. just to beat that in a lil more. all i trust is firestones.

Slams all the way

slams are to stiff and airlift get good lift and collapse nice but you need to decide what you are going to be doing with your truck in order to choose bags. hi psi or cruising. lots of lift or enough? each bag maker has there purpose.

firestones and slams. only 2 bags i will ever use. i life firestones because they collapse smaller than slams. they dont have internal bumpstops. but slams are badass bags too. like john trevino said. each company has their pros and cons. just dont go with a bag with plastic caps and crimped on rings. you will be sorry.

the 180 psi bags use a friggen brass insert in the plastic end capsd to bolt the bag in place. not even on the road and witht eh truck on stands the bags not hanging, no pressure on them the brass insert has come out of the end cap. cheap mass produced crap. i'm broke so i'll just JB weld the sucker back in, but when i get some $$$ I'm getting slams.
