Paintin a car black? how hard?

Is painting a car black really that different then paintin the car another color? or does it just depend on the bodywork?

bodywork needs 2 be perfect.....painting black is easy because its not a transparent color....it just shows all imperfections

yeah what he said better make sure that body is perfect before paint then block it and buff it after it's painted

it shows every lil detail of body work... so if you wanna show off some insane body work, paint your shit black cause it'll proove it...

thats basicly the reason why... i know a few people that won't paint black if there is any bodywork cause they just don't wanna fuck with it...

black is not that hard. I do body work part time. just do the body work and prime. Then block it back out with medium paper (320 grit) then reprime. then wet sand with 400 to 600 grit (depending on what you like) then prep and spray.

Black is just as easy as any other color. As stated above the body work is what is harder. Any little thing will show up on black. I say use black primer, wet the car down and check it over. It will show up most of the bad spots were as other color primers wont.

Of course a wet primer wont show up as much as a gloss black paint job...but its close enough to see if you need to go back and do more body work before its too late.
