Well there really isn't much of anything made for any of the mazda pickups. Most of the stuff that can be done to them comes from modifying the existing parts or universal stuff like ignition upgrades.

There is a B2600 forum on my site that some members have posted some performance stuff, I think someone out there makes some headers and I've seen a few people adapt some "cold air" kits.

I've only seen one that was turbocharged, the guy was in peurto rico and was built by a former member on my site. I'm sure he would have all kinds of info but I havn't seen him in about 2 years.

They did an article in mini truckin' several years ago profiling the install of a Vortec supercharger on Tom Lutz's 2600i. I'm sure some of the old schoolers on here will remember what I'm talking about. The install was all custom(no kit) and came out pretty good looking but they never gave any sort of horsepower numbers or info on the longevity of the 2.6 under boost. I would be interested to see if it held out in the long run. Perhaps Tom Lutz or someone who knows him will step in to fill in the blanks for us.

yep I always wondered what happened to that truck. That was the time of the big "change" at MT. The truck was supposed to be a SEMA truck but I dunno if it ever made it there.

But it looked like a "make-the-bracket-bolt-it-on-add-an-FMU-and-rising-rate-FPR" kind of mod. I awlways wondered how it ran....

I was hoping that you would remember Russ, it makes me look credible(lol). That was definitly durning the dark era of MT. I am looking through may stack of mags right now to see if there is anymore info that I forgot. It probably ran like crud without re-mapping the ECU and no exhaust mods. That was the truck that they did the Miata handle swap to if I remember right.
