There is an 88 yota that I know of that has the rearend and frontend for sale. I want to go get them but was hoping that somebody could tell me if that year will work first?

I made a new frame and kept the frame rails the same distance apart as stock, 42 1/2" I beleive. I am putting 20's on it and am curious if I will need to change the frame a bit.

Has anyone used an 88 yota on their mazda?

Depending on wheels offset will depend on the rear...They yota rear is more narrow then the mazda...I've always narrowed the rear sub frame, but I'm sure if you get the right off set it will work fine...If it don't just make it all fit it will be worth all the bullshit later...

yes it will work..its 2 inches shortet..
it is 6bolt pattern..chances are its a 4.38 or 4.11 ratio..or 4.56.

it'll work just need to get the yota driveshaft too so you can get that yoke put on the mazda shaft, and i think the rear end in my mazda was 3.77 or 3.87, it matched up real close to the stock gears of the mazda.....
