mass air flow problems!!!

My mass air flow continues to go bad after just a few weeks, about 6 months ago my truck started acting up, we figured it was because the maf wasnt getting any power, we looked for hours for the reason why and came up with nothing , so we ran a canstant 12 volts to it, this temporarly fixed the problem, but now it breaks all the time, any sugestions on how to fix????? it on a 01 dime, 4.3

had the same problem w. my blazer while back...cleaned it out and changed the air cleaner and now it runs fine..the check engine light pops on and goes off now and then tho...

a few people said that a k&n air filter can mess it up..

Ive done the cleaning thing, it doesnt work!my check engine light stays on!!

get a code reader and find out what the comp says

might need a new mass air flow..?..

still not figured out!!!! computer just trips a maf code, says low input!! still runs like shit
