envoy conversion

im doin an envoy conversion on my 97 s10 and i have rounded up all the parts except the bumper cover. i have looked everywhere for it and no1 seems to sell the damn thing other than jbm and i just dont have that kind of money to spend on a bumper. does any one have one for sale or know of a cheap place to get an envoy bumper cover thanks

dude i got mine at the dealership as a stock part
it gets you some leway if cops around you are bad about you not having a front bumper lisence plate. i dont know how much it was for the bumper at jbm. i paid 250 for mine, if you dont already have the impact bar that is 100 in itself. you said you have 97 s10, i think you might have taht syle impact bar check it out. with it being such a rare car its hard to run into them in a junkyard. for the 1st time in 5 yrs did i finally see one in paint shop just the other day. if you have anymore ?'s, just ask. have fun on your conversion and enjoy the lights they really help you see

i called jbm and they said $695 sent to my door with the insert reinforcement and fog lights but right now i just dont have $700 to spend on my bumper. i tryed every salvage yard in the area to find one wrecked but no1 has one. i found the reinforcement for a good price so i might try the dealer. 250 sounds like a good price to me and i can wait on the insert and lights. right now my truck is wrecked with no bumper.

i cant wait to drive with those new head lights those sealed beams was like driveing with my eyes closed

i am a part salesman at a chevy dealership the bumper cover list for $344.43 most dealships can get the part within 2-4 days

i just called my local dealer ship and he said that there was a few different bumper cover listed and asked for a vin# do you know whats the best one

well i whent to the dealership today and it was nuthing but i wasted trip. no offense to anyone that works at gm but this guy didnt know shit. first of all i had to argue with him about if envoy was made in 99 then there was 3 different bumper covers and he wouldnt order me one with no vin#. does anyone know wich is the right one or if they are all the same, or does anyone have a vin# i could use to get the bumper cover ordered

3 differnt bumpers. yeah right. he doesnt know what he is talking about. dude i had a hard time myself. dont worry you have find one around town and jot down the number thast what i didthe vin is on the dash where it meeets the windsheild on driver side if you didnt knwo already. its a pain but worth it in the end

not to jack the thread but my buddy already has the conversion on his 98 sonoma but he wants the clear headlights with the 3 circles in them, not the foggy sonoma ones, where can he get them. couldnt find them on ebay
