the problem isnt finding carbs (although dual 45's would be WAAAAY to big for a mazda) its finding a dual sidedarft intake.
So sure the carbs would work, but what would you bolt those to? You are going to spend 600 on just two carbs............
Contrast that with my system, sidedraft EFI throttle bodies from a CBR 600 F4i, megaquirtII fuel/ignition computer, B2600i in tank pump, upgraded fuel lines, custom intake, Ford EDIS ignition system with distributor and multi coil pack, and I only spent 800 bucks total.
Jim (madlowmazda on ssm) spent even less than that I believe. EFI starts better than dual sidedrafts, makes more power over a wider rpm range, and never has to be "sync'd", something you'll get sick of doing. Plus you have to change jets when the weather changes...
