im getting my 92 single cab toyota bagged right now, and plan on running 225/40/18 tires (25" tall). no body drop. if its laying the rear part of the frame and the front crossmember (not Z'd yet), will the tires clear the firewall as well as the driveshaft clearing the cab? If anyone has done this with these size tires let me know.

Can you explain done right , I have a 94 yota not Z'd on 17's with 205/35/17 and it rubs the firewall, laying frame in the rear.

if the pinion angle is set up to follow the trans out put housing it will not hit the tunnel up to a 20 unless body dropped. most people set there rear ends to have a 0 degree pinion angle so when layed out the drive shaft hits the tunnel and back wall. like i said it all depends on how the rear end and link set up is done.

My drive shaft clears by like three inches under the cab but up front the tires rub the fire wall, it has stock control arms (upper and lower) and stock spindles sittin on 17's with 35 series tires. Now i am planing on tubbing the fire wall but you said it would clear the firewall on 18's if done right, im just curious if you dont mind explaning how you do it.

the only thing in the front would be the firewall may come in contact with the tire when layed out. the easy way and cheapest way to fix the problem would be to hammer and dolly the fire wall and cut the seam where th etube and the inner fender panel meet so it can be puched back a little to clear them. the tire doesnt touch all that much just need to massage the firewall alittle
