someone please help! i need to find out what i can do if anything to move the stock radius arms in the front so i can body drop the truck right i know i could just cut the body mounts next to the radiator but then ill need to buy a shorter radiator is this the best way to go or should i build new lower control arms and get rid of the radius arms all together?

get kustomwerks' tubular lower control arm kit- it elimates the strut rod/ radius rod arms and utilizes a true control arm with a new control arm mount. They are works of art!

We stock floor Bodydropped the beige mazda in my profile 2 3/4 " just cut the outside mounts off and lowered them . Used a Older style Dodge Caravan V6 Radiator and Electric fan it looks stock fits in the stock location after drilling 2 new holes . Also has the stock radius arms up front . Personally i would just go with Kustom Works arms to eliminate it all and jsut lower the whole front crossmember

I did a mazda a couple years back i used the stock strut rods and flipped them and ran em backwards made a mount on the outside of the frame rail..i had to put a little bend in the rods to line up parrallel with the frame.

you dont need a shorter radiator, you cut and drop the "ears" then "c" notch under the lower rad hose. I did mine this way, had the core support dine in under an hour.

Cutting the whole front clip off is a bitch to line back up properly if you leave the strut rods connected, and lowers the strut rod mounts to where they bang on the road.

One time we cut the "ears" off and made new bumper brackets. The other we cut out the bumper mount and core support "ears" which saved us the effort of making new bumper mounts. then as russ said, you just notch and fill in the cross member to clear the lower radiator hose
