Phone rings: "hello?"
Friend: "you got my freakin' rendering done of my truck yet?"
Me: "Um, nope. Actually I forgot about it to be honest".
Friend: Well I am soliciting some sponsors and I need something, anything to show them".
Me: Okay.
Friend: Can you please work something up in the next few days. I'll even pay you something to knock something out."
Me: Don't sweat it. I'll work something out real quick like for you of the truck pics you gave me.
Friend: Cool. Just let me know when they are done. I big time appreciate it.
Me: Yep. I try to find some time this weekend and send you something.
(end of conversation)

So, I hang up and go and spend the next four hours tinkering on this old rust bucket Datsun. I haven't posted any pics here in a while and figured this would be one maybe some of you fellas would dig. It ain't no where near perfect. I called it quits at 1 am. Another couple of hours would change a lot, but its a freebie for a friend so it doesn't have to be all special and super pro. Enjoy.

Thanks for the thumbs up everyone. I know there are a bunch of "things that could be fixed or cleaned up". At 1 a.m. I decided, that's it, its done for a freebie. If he was coughing up some dough or something, then I would have kept on cloning out the shitter in the windows, took the dent out of the front bumper, cleaned up the paint on the hood and roof, removed the paint texture and worked on the shadows.
Billy, no Tito is rolling a 620. Its worth it to see him squeeze in it every day..lol
