suede dash.

ok so im painting my dash and i think im gonna do that main top piece of my dash suede. does anyone know if it is easy to keep clean? also i live in fresno, Cali, where would be a god place to get it done. im gonna do the headliner suede as well. if anyone has any pics of this stuff i would love tgo se them.

suede and sun dont really like each other bro, i did my brothers car in suede and true it was black but it faded after a year of sun in texas. so if u do it i would do a light color and have fun tryin to stretch it cuz it dont like to be streched all that much.

ya well if i do it im gonna do it white so i probably won't have to worry about the fadeing. ill probably do the headliner my self but the dash i might take it to be done somewhere.

its easy, just got done doingmy door panels, in suede.

im just finishing up my dash its in two tone suede pewter on top and black on bottom its lookin pretty sweet

i was going to do mine but went with tweed on my dash instead but i did my headliner in suede and love it, was afraid of dash fade

Some of the suede out there is crap. No offense intended but the last thing you want wrapping anything is some leftovers from "Rooms to Go" furniture. There are some reputable mills who have U.V. stable suedes hat will stand a decent amount of light. The information is available on the samples. If you have seen something you like let me know what it is and I will give you the rating for UV stability as well as cleanability. (You know you'll spill something!)

Adam from Settin Trendz right next door did an S10 recently in black...I dont know how it will hold up to fading with the Cali sun...I would just do the safe route and paint it!!! that what Im doin...my headliner was cake...
